ABOUT
Capsamedix develops devices for long-term oral drug delivery. Our unique approach has the capacity for multi-drug delivery with easily scalable production, based on biodegradable and biocompatible polymer technology. Capsamedix has a strong and talented team of experts on polymer chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, and material sciences, necessary to make our technology available to the end-user.
TECHNOLOGY
Capsamedix platform technology is based on a device for local long-term steady-state oral delivery of compounds (drugs, active pharmaceutical ingredients, or any other).
Our solution is a tooth-attachable small polymeric-based drug delivery device, based on biodegradable and biocompatible polymers. The device can be attached in a "do-it-yourself" manner, with a precisely tuned drug release rate.

We are delighted to attend Slush Helsinki 2019! We are presenting our drug delivery technology at the Showcase Studio! We are also looking forward to many interesting meetings in our schedule!

We are travelling to take part in the Slush small talks event in New York City, an invite-only event in collaboration with the United Nations. There will be very high-profile speakers and lots of networking!

11.6.2019 Korea-Finland Startup Summit, Helsinki, Finland
Invited by Upgraded, we will be showcasing Capsamedix at the Korea-Finland Startup Summit. There will be networking and interesting discussions with promising Korean and Finnish startups. A great opportunity to meet strategic & financial investors interested in investment/co-investment/co-developing business opportunities.
7.6.2019 PoDoCo grant for Dr. Shiqi Wang!
Dr. Shiqi Wang was awarded a 28000€ grant from the Jenny and Antti Wihuri foundation in the Postdocs in Companies program! Starting on August, she will work for one year with Capsamedix on sustained delivery of allergens for curing allergies using our drug delivery technology.

7.6.2019 Terkko Health X Showcase, Helsinki, Finland
We participated in the pitch competition of the Terkko Health X startup accelerator final showcase. There were seven awesome teams with great pitches from each! The 1st position went to Uute Scientific, 2nd place to SciAR, and 3rd place to Capsamedix!
The evening continued with inspirational keynote speeches, casual celebration, music and networking.
4.6.2019 Helsinki Startup Day
